Buques paraguayos - Collection C. Kleiss
In this postcard there were several ships in the area of the shipyard Tomás Ruiz de Velasco, at Erandio (Vizcaya). On the right, the Proa Europa, owned by Naviera Proa, alongside her were the Paraguayan vessels Rio Apa and Olimpo built for the Flota Mercante del Estado. Next to them is seen, in the background steaming up the river, the hopper Benedicta, owned by Altos Hornos de Vizcaya. Seen from the stern, steaming down the river, was the Barredos, owned by Sociedad Metalúrgica Duro Felguera. And finally, berthed at the wharves of Altos Hornos de Vizcaya, the barge Dicido, also owned by Altos Hornos de Vizcaya.
